Cal Day

Whenever we get a chance, we want to give Impact students experiences that are, well, out of the ordinary. So this time, we had them slap on backpacks and we ventured into the big land of Cal, on the big student day called Cal Day. It’s a day where the UC Berkeley campus opens it doors to all the incoming students of the year, and this year, to a crowd of 2nd and 3rd graders. We took a tour of the campus, visited some popular building like Valley Life Science Building which is a life-size two story T-rex. Um, our very own Jurassic Park. I think it’s, or should I say, her name is Sue. Quite a thing to see.
